Thanks, Mike. That felt is more than incredible and the good news is I actually found two more of those on the bay! Another chamois one in grey and a regular one. And even cheaper than this one! The panama is a succes too; wore it again today. The one who decided it needed a month's supply of shellac deserves a kick in the butt retroactively though.Well, that was an enjoyable parade. That Titan turned out sweet. Loved that felt (I petted it frequently while in my hat room). That supernatural is really a statement straw.
Great look today Michael. I guess I better dust off my light colored pants since we have passed May Day. Love that Dobbs color.Dobbs Deion this morning.

Seems to be heating up out here more quickly this morning. So I will probably be in a cap if I get out bicycling and a straw when I get home.

Have a fun Saturday,
Michael
You could try giving the panama a quick bath in ethyl alcohol. If it is stiffened with actual shellac that should dissolve some of it out. Thanks, Michael. The panama needs to earn its place. It has a lot going for it but it's very stiff; not something I'd expect from a panama.
Thanks Stefan. Sandstone lord doesn't have quite the same ring to it.Lovely shape to that hat, Michael. Your own version of Mike's bonelord.
Thanks Mike. The season of summer clothes has arrived. Here at least.Great look today Michael. I guess I better dust off my light colored pants since we have passed May Day. Love that Dobbs color.
Roger, thanks! That's the one Harv. The perfect hat!
Thank you Mike!Impressive crown height Harv. Another Weis winner!
It works either way, but I have to agree that the brim down is the better look. Channel your inner Bob Roberts for the brim up look!Hey all!
This old Mossant today. It has a heavy overwelt edge that I believe (but, of course, could be wrong) was meant to be worn brim up, but the snapped down look it growing on me.
Up
And down...
I just hope the color name of "Orage" (Thunderstorm, Tempest, Squall) isn't somehow prophetic...might have to switch from Field Jacket to Trench.
Have a great day!

Nice, and looks good with the brim up!Got my first bonafide hat in the mail today! A Stetson, estimated to be late 50’s or 60’s per the Lounge Family! It’s super soft. Just threw it on to take a walk with the family.
I especially like the Supernatural. Beautiful.Haven't had the time to comment on all the great hats of the last few days, but there were more than enough of super hats out. My hats of the last few days:

Wow! Beautiful, Red. You seem to have a different hat on every day. I only own nine nice ones.Opening night for Annie was a big success last night, sold out house! Spent the day in recovery. Now I have to go repair some set items (hopefully not after every performance!) and get the theater ready for tonight. Another black hat with my stage ninja clothes, Churchill Lord's Hat, unsure of the dating. The logo has a "R", if the rule of 1972 for Dobbs per the professor holds for Canadian hats, this one might be early 1980s. Great felt, and smooth finish.

People hardly ever have garage sales in Mexico. It's one of the things I miss from the US.Out garage sailing today found this nice box but didn’t buy because of the felt markups
Sadly only a smithbilt that was way to small for me.
Ended up doing gardening work so I broke out the pith helmet
