Karl Misik (KAMI) "Special", speckled Wool probably 1940s. This hat is from my May 2015 NOS Czech find.

"Yesterday and Today" United Hat Factory, K. Misík - O.F. Hess Husinec (today known locally as Šumavan, Czech Republic), closed 1948 due to nationalization of hat companies in Czechoslovakia.

That is just fenomenal, Steve. The look of that felt is superb. And that location comparison is the cherry on top. Thanks for educating us.

Today it’s a very special Borsalino to me. This is the 2nd time i’ve worn it. The first was on my Grandaughter’s 1st day last July. This is an Ecosan in Pervinca (periwinkle). Some hats just sit right. This is one of them. A wonderful hat. Luckily it came with an exact twin in brown. Just wish i had two heads.
