A very fine hat, Mike. The lords hat: the secret handshake of hat collectors?Opening night for Annie was a big success last night, sold out house! Spent the day in recovery. Now I have to go repair some set items (hopefully not after every performance!) and get the theater ready for tonight. Another black hat with my stage ninja clothes, Churchill Lord's Hat, unsure of the dating. The logo has a "R", if the rule of 1972 for Dobbs per the professor holds for Canadian hats, this one might be early 1980s. Great felt, and smooth finish.

Thanks buddy.Wow, I dig the shape and colors of that hat. The crown is outstanding.

Interesting markings on that sweatband. Do you know what, "The Cutter" refers to? Was this an outlet find?
Very nice, unfortunate that Hatco, dropped so many of the models that Deckard developed.Stetson New York LE in tobacco brown.

This was indeed an outlet find. It was NIB with an untouched crown when I received it. No idea what “The Cutter” refers to.
Nice find,Chuck.Yesterday and today my lucky Playboy, that I got from Moon.Went to the flea market.Didn't find a hat...I did find something I've been looking for a long time.Have seen a couple, but they were in bad shape and price was to high.My Grandpa gave me one when I was a kid.Little mechanical smoking drinking man.Only missing his bottle.
Wow! That hat makes a real statement! I am trying to wear a different black hat for each of our performances. We run for four weeks, I may have to repeat a couple of times. Doing theater gives me a reason to wear black hats, backstage we all wear black to "disappear" while making set changes. It is a theater convention.Wow! Beautiful, Red. You seem to have a different hat on every day. I only own nine nice ones.
Here's the one I wore today, Stetson El Presidente.

I need a pith helmet, you look good in yours. One of the most utilitarian hats we see on the lounge.Out garage sailing today found this nice box but didn’t buy because of the felt markups
Sadly only a smithbilt that was way to small for me.
Ended up doing gardening work so I broke out the pith helmet

Peters Brothers this morning.
Really a cool find Chuck. My dad had one of these on his home bar when I was a kid. Sadly, it does not survive today, probably sold in a garage sale in the 1980s. Thanks man. I overheat all summer so for yard work they are critical. Check out the pith helmet thread of doom. I have bought most of mine from Village Hat Shop. Good luck and wear you hat in good health.Wow! That hat makes a real statement! I am trying to wear a different black hat for each of our performances. Thanks! It works either way, but I have to agree that the brim down is the better look. Channel your inner Bob Roberts for the brim up look!
Thanks Mike!Love that Mossant. Down is my vote.
That Supernatural is a nice looking hat!Haven't had the time to comment on all the great hats of the last few days, but there were more than enough of super hats out. My hats of the last few days:
