I may still have newbie tendencies, but just how do you make the Quote Option work? I would use it a lot if I spent the time to figure it out.

Red; Push the "quote" highlight (bottom of each thread) of many posts and then go to the bottom of the page to enter a post and click the "+ quote" highlight. Each quoted posts will show up on your single post.

when you have collected all the posts you want to respond to hit insert quotes and they will all pop up and you can respond to them separately in one post

may I kindly recommend the quote option when responding to multiple posts

it simply puts all your responses in one post with the exact same affect as 10 posts in a row ... just makes scrolling through more pleasant

If you are on your computer, the bottom of every post has a "+Quote" button. Press that on every post you wish to comment on, then when you get to your comment box, you'll see an "Insert Quotes" button, that will toss them all in the same response.

I also prefer that than the multiple posts (along with editing photos to decrease the necessary scrolling) however, if you are using Tapatalk on your phone, I am unaware of how to multi-quote, so I limit my comments often when I'm on my phone.

I really like that one, Michael. It's unique with the alternating colors of straw. Nice!
Thanks Doug. It is, perhaps, a little too vivid where it's not faded,

but I think I might like it anyway.

While I was out in the intense sun today searching for some cheap totes to store woolens for the summer I was still suffering from hot head syndrome. So when my favorite thrift had this 1966 dated (according to the Interwebz) Navy sun helmet I had to give it a try.

I immediately had to take it out on the bike and with the chin strap in place it is very stable.

But somewhat noisy. I wonder if I can use a file to tune all the grommet holes so that they whistle some nice chord?

I've yet to find a straw that I truly enjoy ... I own many and love none ... this one and the hat that @Rogera wore yesterday would definitely scratch that itch
I know what you mean , Ant. I think I have six or so straws only because I keep buying them trying to find the one that looks the way I think a straw hat should look. I think two of the six I really like. The others.... not so much. I like your idea of having Esther build one.
Roger's Knox is the one! Perfect from what I can tell.

You learn something new everyday! I like this, seen it often, but didn't know how people were doing it. My phone does not have tapatalk, I'm not quite a selfie king/queen yet.

That weaving of alternating colors is something you see quite a bit in Colombian-made hats. Very nice.

that's exactly what I mean ... I keep buying them thinking it will have the look I seek and it never is

I have a few that are fine ... but none that satisfy the vision in my head
