I have a couple pairs of MoP cufflinks I found in my grandmother/great-grandmother's button bucket. I rarely use them since I'm not sure about how they look with a white shirt. I mainly use them with not-white shirts, though that's just me.

It's interesting how tartan patterns became very popular in the late 1940's. I still have a Gordon tartan tie my father bought on the day he was discharged from the Marines in 1945. It's my favorite.

Any chance of a picture? It's certainly a pattern with longevity. My tie is a modern, and if I am honest, slightly showy, Italian take on it, but I like it.

Great look, but rare to see you without a pocket square TT. Pale blue shirt offsets the reds and browns nicely. How long do you ask Luxire to make your spearpoints?

The spearpoint is, if I remember correctly, four inches.

I don't know if it's just because I'm so used to the slim silhouette of the 10-20s, but I think that it looks a bit big on you. Especially the shoulders look too wide.

It seems to be cut VERY boxy-ish(?). The shoulders have a lot of padding in them, and the underarms are cut with a lot of room, probably to enhance the draping effect.

Unseen are AE Daltons (brogued blucher boots) in a walnut shade that picks up the sweater/square/windowpane.

Nice outfit. Yes, that colour will match with blacks and greys as well as earthy colours. Can't get much versatile than that.
