I have a couple pairs of MoP cufflinks I found in my grandmother/great-grandmother's button bucket. I rarely use them since I'm not sure about how they look with a white shirt. I mainly use them with not-white shirts, though that's just me.

It's interesting how tartan patterns became very popular in the late 1940's. I still have a Gordon tartan tie my father bought on the day he was discharged from the Marines in 1945. It's my favorite.

Hi...folks

I like the Bill's khakis (ww II) model during the summer ...my corduroy (Aeroleather) when it's getting colder......and always my Lost Worlds Suburban black jacket....

Got to save same money for the Wesco engineer boots..

Any chance of a picture? It's certainly a pattern with longevity. My tie is a modern, and if I am honest, slightly showy, Italian take on it, but I like it.

I forgot to put the pocket square in. It was the first time I'd worn the jacket.

The spearpoint is, if I remember correctly, four inches.

I don't know if it's just because I'm so used to the slim silhouette of the 10-20s, but I think that it looks a bit big on you. Especially the shoulders look too wide.

It's cold (by Texas-in-February-standards) so I'm playing with textures and patterns. If you ever find yourself torn about bidding on a teal tweed coat from the 30's on ebay - pull the trigger. It's way more versatile than you're thinking, I promise.

Unseen are AE Daltons (brogued blucher boots) in a walnut shade that picks up the sweater/square/windowpane.

Nice outfit. Yes, that colour will match with blacks and greys as well as earthy colours. Can't get much versatile than that.
