I have a beautiful Cav
Only somewhere in its life someone trimmed the cav edge off and left a 2 1/2” raw edge... still a beautiful hat ... but having a cav without a cav edge is kinda like a banana split with no banana

This one is mid to late 1940's. Green with a purplish ribbon. the original owner didn't wear it much judging by the condition. 2 1/2 inch brim . It came with a center dent... I didn't have the heart to change it so I just reworked it a bit.

What a great color combo, Robert. I think it's hard to beat a Cavanagh, just wonderful felt. I wouldn't mind having another. I made a pretty good guess on your teaser pic, yesterday.

You were right on the money, Greg! I figured you might recognize the Cavanagh ribbon treatment.
