The skirt is a reprint, Simplicity 3688. The sweater is from http://www.interweavestore.com/

The outfit is great Kamikat, but in an off topic blonde moment... I was thinking how your bed blanket looked like dog fur.... but then I relized it was a dog!

Thanks for the comments. Believe it or not, for the striped version, I used nursery print fabric from Joann. They just opened in my area so I'm going there every week. They have a surprisingly nice selection of cotton prints and I'm happy with the results.

It looks fantastic! You'd never know it was a nursery print!

And OT, but Drappa, I was seriously JUST looking through a Vogue magazine from '53 and saw the image that is your icon! I was wondering why it looked familiar... :D

Oooh, which issue? It is Dovima in Dior as far as I know. How exciting!

hailey- That dress is adorable and clever. I love it.
BoPeep-Beautiful work as always.
You are so talented thedanu. The only thing I can make with out a pattern is a dirndle skirt.
Amazing work from everyone.

I am proud of this dress. I took a ton of pictures of the whole process. I wish the skirt fit better but I'll fix that next time. I think I've lost weight since I made the dress.

A-line skirt in grey wool. Quite simple, but I', pleased anyway.

Sometimes it's the simple projects that are the best!! I like your skirt and it looks great on you!! I really need to start adding more winter clothing to my wardrobe and stop sticking to modern pants in the winter. Love your shoes also and of course the pup!!
