Tried a both the Longsleeve Polo and the Work Shirt at SJC stockist Crazy Man Crazy (Forest Hill, London). Quality of both was great. However I found the neck on the XL long sleeve polo a lot tighter than the 16.5 its described on the website and the cuffs on the 1930s work shirt to be very small. Unfortunately this stopped me buying either. I really wanted the Polo, but there was no stretch to the neck.

Paul has a fair bit of SJC stock and I think will be reordering in the future. Does anyone whether the more recent Polo's are the same material?

The 2017 Summer and Autumn run were both a lighter bamboo than the 2016 originals. Not sure about the neckholes. I wear a 17, and the xxl is grand in both for me. I think the new Summer 18 run are supposed to be the same pattern, with a new colour or two. Might be more room in the Aertex versions which are looming.

Thanks Edward.

Paul's ones were 2017 versions, but I just found the neck too tight, didn't appear to be any give. And it was my correct neck size in the xl, being 16.5 in theory. Which was a shame since I would of loved to have got it!

Did try the '33 Jacket on, which is a gorgeous piece of cloth. Unfortunately out of my budget. Anyone one of these, they seem to have sold out on the SJC site.

2016 Polo's I purchased XL's which fitted fine..2017 I ended up with 2XL (after trying XL's)..I'm a 46" chest & the XL versions were too small.

Yes, the patterns changed slightly from 16 to 17; I made the same switch from xl to xxl.

The 33 jacket was an extremely limited run owing to only a small quantity of the wool being available. I believe there'll be another version next Winter, though. Definitely worth a look, mine is fantastic.

now that I've just nabbed my pair, I can let it be known that there's a pretty good sale (half price) on the grey selvage jeans, which I personally think are killer. And a bunch of other stuff too, including the golden chinos that I bought for full price and have not yet worn!

I'm looking forward to seeing the retail on the jazz knits; much as I love a Fairisle, these look to be a nice alternative and hopefully will come in at a lower price. Not that I object to paying what real Fairisle costs, knowing what goes into it, just that it'd be nice also to have access to a more affordable alternative I could pick up more easily. For various reasons I wasn't in a position to spend on this season's collection earlier, but I have picked up a couple of bits in the sale. The caps are an absolute bargain in particular. Alas, none of the aertex dress shirts available; I'm hoping those will come back next year, hopefully with the combo cuff, as they would certainly be perfect for Summer graduation ceremonies.

Which one? (Not sure if you’re referring to the polos or tees)

I got every one except the black striped polo.

Sorry Willyto,

I was referring to the nearly topless Lady that was posted on this thread a couple of days back, that post has now been deleted. But now you mention it, what are the T’s like?

I want to order some spectator shoes. I wear U.S. 9D. I was advised by SJC to size up to UK9 which would be a U.S. 10D. Anyone had any experience with their spectator shoes. They are spectacular looking, pardon the pun.
