Cute jewellery, but I must say, your brows are perfection!

Hand that necklace over! I love it!

So many pages of beautiful projects! I thought I would share one of mine. I made these pillowcase style dresses for my nieces, since they are 5 years apart and love to dress alike. I still need to get action photos of them but both of my sister in laws have failed to send me them.

Miss sofia, sheeplady and hailey greenhat - thanks so much! The rickrack is printed on the fabric, and originally I was going to use it for a pencil skirt. But then just about anything makes a good pencil skirt!

First try at making a skirt. I made this one with the rest of the fabric I used to make the cap I posted pictures of last time. I cut the fabric on the bias, and used vintage buttons. It's inspired by the 30's, even though as usual I had no pattern :)

Halloween Dress! :D The polka-dots are flocked on. This is created from three patterns and based off a dress i saw and really wanted but was 95$, i recognized the spiderweb fabric and set about making my own for far less :) I'm pretty happy with it, but i wish i could have encased the neck in black and still had it lay flat.

the name really is silly, but the idea isn't. I have already tried this the other day with shoe laces. It worked, didn't look good though. Trying it with a pretty ribbon and winding around the heel a bit in order to make it look "on purpose" is worth a try.

btw, these are the delinquents:

(I took the pic before I attached the half dozen of heel stoppers inside)
The heels look ridiculously short in the pic but they really aren't, they're moderate 2 7/8 "

How did you do in the end wahine? If you haven't sewn the straps on my advice (as an ex shoe fitter!) is to avoid heel grips when shoes are too loose as they just push your toes further forward, usually causing bruising sooner or later (I have done this in the past) and also stretch the heel counter out making them even looser at the heel.

My advice is to put foam half insoles in the front of your shoes (only half, not full ones), you may need more than one pair if they are really loose. This will push your foot back and into the heel better without squashing your toes.

Your dress is ♥adorable♥. Black bias tape didn't work across the neckline?
