Rara Avis - What rare WWII aircraft would you like to see flying?

Since a lot of us are having fun posting what our favourite WWII aircraft is on another thread, I thought I'd start a thread pertaining to WWII aircraft of which there are no examples currently flying. What rare (and / or not flying) WWII aircraft would you like to see in the air?
I'll start this off with three I'd like to see.

The Fairey Battle

The Napier Sabre-engined Hawker Tempest Mk.V or Mk.VI

The Boulton Paul Defiant

I'd love to see a P-39 Airacobra in flight and up close. I always thought it was a beautiful plane, but I guess the Russians appreciated it more than we Americans. Sort of the A-10 of its day.

And yes it does fly and it's only twenty minutes away from me. I'll see it tomorrow, in fact. I'll be there to see their P-40 fly.

Baltimore

Martin Baltimore, an American built plain that flew combat with the allies and not with its home land. I first saw a photo of a squadron of them, and they were being escorted by American piloted P-40s. Seems while Montgomery and Patton were fighting each other all around the Mediterranean, the American And British Air Forces were busy fighting the Germans in joint operations! Culminating in the greatest joint operation, the Palm Sunday Massacre!

F7F Tiger Cat. They had one on loan at "The Lone Star Flight Museum" in Galveston but I never caught it in the air. Quite a collection.

I'll second the P-35. There are three left, one of which is in flying condition, and a 2-place variant, AT-12, which is too.

And happily, some outfit is working to scratch build one!

It will be marked as one of the 24th PG in the Philippines, where P-35s saw their only action.

Bloody tragic when you consider that all of these were scrapped.

Steve Vizard led a dig in the 70s and dug up the remains of one, the Peregrins were at Tangmere for a bit and one is now on display at the Rolls-Royce Heritage Trust.

I've often wondered what might have been if a few Merlins had been diverted to the Whirly production...
