This one is my favorite. I like to wear it hunting.
Snowy Rivers are beautiful hats, I will get one in sand, maybe in January...Love that kind of swoop brim.
Hey Fruno when I was married I could only get one 20 bucks hat a year !!!!Jeez, Chamuco, leave some for everybody else!
This is almost as my Biltmore. Whatever angle I take a picture of it seems that my camera have some weird color flare on the lenses, but it doesn't change color on different light sourcesI opened the box and looked at it in sunlight, it was obviously brown. It was going to be a project hat, so I decided to redicrect my plans to a brown hat (I rarely wear black hats anyway). But when I got it inside my house, under artificial/indoor light, the hat now appears to no longer be brown - it is now a very dark green. So I am keeping it, whatever color it is?? Photo #2 shows the changes after reblock/reshape. I plan to change the ribbon to a thin tan on light olive ribbon with a bow. The hat is an early 1960s Byer-Rolnick era Resistol "17.50."
The "green" is actually much darker than the photo - more of bottle green.
I saw this and bought it...
Fantastic, Mark! And the color really brings out your eyes!!
If I were to rule the world, everyone would be wearing a Homburg.
