Photographic and video evidence sent to the Football Against Racism in Europe (FARE) network shows a group of more than 60 fans in the Croatian section of the Armano Picci stadium positioning themselves to form a swastika.

BOSTON! LETS GO PATRIOTS!!!
Yup, I could get banned for what I want to say too. What I will say is this sickens me. It's so hard for me to believe that there are still so many nazi loving people out there. Just very wrong, that's all I'll say.

Truly too bad an acient symbol got so fouled and corrupted.

I have a friend, he's Asian, who has a swastika "tattoed" on the back of his neck. It was put there when he was 2 or 3 by a monk. It's a blessing. It gets him in all sorts of trouble when people see it.

Larch Trees

A photo of Larch Trees in a forest of Germany. Apparently these were planted as saplings back in the '30's and '40's. They can only be seen from the air. Amazing!

Hi Kat, ...A Pine forest near the village of Zernikow (110 km Northeast of Berlin). It was only visible from the air a few weeks in the Spring and a few weeks in the Fall when Larch trees stood out in contrast to the surrounding Pine trees.

They should know better, especially since the croats supported the Nazies during WW2. Makes me, especially as German, sick to my stomach to see people still using this symbol to offend others or to show national pride. I bet none of these jerks doesn't even know where the symbol actually originates from....Just my 2 cents...
Cheers,
Christoph

Nazi symbolism

Last year, I tried to post a thread about an asian news website reporting on the trend in some Asian areas to be enthralled by Nazi style & design. it pointed out that some of the people into this didnt really understand the socio-political impact. They jsut thought it was the height of style, from Hugo Boss uniforms to Mercedes tanks.
Unfortunately the thread was edited away , because there is nudity in some of the photos.
But as in this thread, I just wanted to point out that there are idiots who still like Nazi stuff & Nazi ideas.

So, is it surprising that there are still Nazi fans... or is it surprising that some of us just cant believe that this still happens? Are we naive to believe that the war was won & all the nazis are gone? That all those Hitler Youth might not have grown up & renounced their upbringing? Does anyone recall that old joke about Mussolini, "At least he kept the trains running on time?"

I think you need to separate the two. One being Nazi and two being the Swastika.

Think back to the early 70's and the outlaw biker movement. The Swastika was a prevalent symbol of anti-authority. It wasn’t meant as a Nazi symbol, just one to “stick-it-to-the-man”, where the man is the law, and the law is the older generations who fought in WWII.

As we’ve seen so far on this thread, members such as Ortega76 talks about his friend who has a Swastika tattoo, but not for the Nazi, but for his religion.

I’m not quite sure what he means, but I think he likes the symbol, but not the message? Right?

American Indians use the symbol also, but backwards if I remember.

It’s always going to be there, but the real problem is what it’s meant to signify. And in the case of the Croatians… they made a very bad version of one, with a very bad message.

It's an ancient symbol used by practically every culture, adapted by the National Socialist Party.

Here's a Buddhist one.

It was my understanding that Hitler was big on the Occult stuff, so when he needed a symbol for his party he scoured books of ancient symbols and stole one. I've heard some people claim that what happened to him was in part, divine punishment for the perversion of the symbol.
