Dobbs...looks like a wider brimmed homburg, but the brim curl isn’t as pronounced as most homburgs. The brim looks more curled than flanged. Something to keep me guessing while it ships. It’s a 7 5/8 in any case.

I scored a Stetson, The Sovereign for $12 on eBay. The liner is unattached but it is intact if I want to have it put back in.

I also want to say I just found this forum and I am super happy to see such an active forum for classic menswear!

Thank you, gentlemen. I have three World's Finest and three America's Finest. This will tip the balance to World's Finest. I have a totally unsupported theory it changed due to the war, but no idea what switched to what.

Yeah it looks more like a kettle curl rather than a straight up homburg. Whatever it may be, it's a fine looking hat. I hope it works out for you.
