A late bday gift to myself, I did a BIN on this "vintage stetson dodds 20" today, not much in pictures (only the 2 full sized ones) View attachment 272629 View attachment 272630 ... however I did manage to coax a couple more from her before I took the plunge, of only which one was of any use. I don't see any trace of liner cover, so that's a good sign (hopefully the newspaper inside the sweat can help date it), hopefully the rest of the hat looks as nice on the outside. I guess I'll see in a week or two.

Congratulations on your new "Dodds."

Not an Ebay hat, but a little victory anyway (and hat related). Managed to score this box of hat clips. Eccles seems to be a bit too generic to pin it to any specific shop.

Lambournes of Birmingham has been around since 1886 and made all sorts of small fashion accessories.

A box of these has shown up here before (see: https://www.thefedoralounge.com/thr...-items-of-interest.54417/page-27#post-2059207) , but they're not common to say the least.

So I just received this very nice Lee hat, and the felt is super soft. But the bound edge has come loose in the front and on the side. This was not described in the listing, but its such a great hat that I am going to keep it. Anyone know if a loosened bound edge can be repaired?
