So you didn't get the photo you requested? That doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

I imagine there might be a generally "colder" tone to it in contrast to leathers that are dyed black on a grey or brownish initial color (e.g. my Schott naked cowhide jackets fade to a light grey over the years as they're exposed to all kind of weather). So aside from the broken in state that's been mentioned, it would be interesting to see the Midnight Blue in various light conditions (night, sunlight, cloudy daylight, various indoors) next to conventional black jackets to see which one appears darker/ colder/ whatever. The results might be difficult to convey photographically tho.

I think you're right that it might be very difficult to photograph this color acurately. direct sun/ flash may be the only way to see the difference.

Got a mail from Denny last night, he is sending a black and a blue sample. He said it's a beautiful leather, and more tone will come out with wear. I'm very intrigued.

I hadn't seen that jacket on the sale page, Mr Fanch of the many buttoned jackets. The photos on that page show a lot more blue in the leather than the original Instagram pic. It looks great. Will keep you posted once the samples arrive.

But idk, at times I'm stuck on a Lewis Lightning when the punk bug hits. Or even that recent Kelso button-up looks phenomenal. Or maybe something from NorShor.

It's always a tough decision. The best is when a jacket just blindsides you and dumps you on your ass. Then you know you have to have it. I've changed my mind several times while waiting my turn....now I've actually got the cash and the guys are waiting fo my order, the pressure is on.....casual or MC, brown or Cordovan,button or zip what lining?...the pressure is immense!

Maybe try bakers boots. They do custom made belts with the leathers used by whites, so I'm thinking maybe you can get a blue cxl one. Send Kyle an email. He is a really good bloke.
