So you didn't get the photo you requested? That doesn't exactly inspire confidence.
I imagine there might be a generally "colder" tone to it in contrast to leathers that are dyed black on a grey or brownish initial color (e.g. my Schott naked cowhide jackets fade to a light grey over the years as they're exposed to all kind of weather). So aside from the broken in state that's been mentioned, it would be interesting to see the Midnight Blue in various light conditions (night, sunlight, cloudy daylight, various indoors) next to conventional black jackets to see which one appears darker/ colder/ whatever. The results might be difficult to convey photographically tho.
