They're foam rollers that are long and straight. They're covered in fabric and snap together at the ends. You roll your hair around them and snap the ends, forming a loop. The next one you set, take one end and loop it through the previous roller before you snap it. This helps give lift at the...
Start with maybe 1/2 castor oil. You maybe have to adjust to less if it dries out your skin too much. I think you'll like OCM though - it should help make your pores look smaller.
One thing I will say, that is a HUGE advantage to having oily skin.... oily skin doesn't wrinkle over time the...
Have you tried the Lottabody? I'm amazed at how much difference the right setting lotion can make in whether or not my hair holds a curl. Most spray curl activators like that let the curl fall out of my hair after an hour, even if I let it set for 12.
I keep it in a jar. I don't dip my comb in, though, because I find that puts too much lotion in my hair and it gets flakey. I just dip my fingers in and then spread it through the piece of hair I'm rolling at that moment. I add a little pomade for shine, and then comb it through with a...
You should read through all of the information here. Oil cleansing method would probably work well for you BECAUSE your skin is oily. You might just have to add more castor oil for cleansing.
Yes. I assumed that you meant you were going to try the upholstery cleaner on the stain itself to get it out. I was just saying that if it's a wet cleaner, it's just going to add more stain, and stain any non-stained areas it touches.
Linen's a natural fiber. Miss Neecerie is right - it should be fine. If it's dyed, you may want to do a spot test first to test for color-fastness though.
Huh. I've never had any luck using a phrase as my search term. If I type in, say, "nail polish", it will return results with "nail polish", "nail" and "polish", which usually is more than I can sift through.
The forum's built in search function will not allow you to search using phrases. To do that, you have to use a Google advanced search. Unfortunately, I've never had much luck with that either.
Maybe it's this thread? http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?t=9255
I have to clip them too.
I never get dents with mine. Then again, I usually use pillow rollers around the top and sides, and sponge rollers underneath, so even if I did get dents from the sponge rollers, it wouldn't be noticeable. I find that the type of curl you get from them is the same...
I must admit that, after a mighty strong cocktail, this is not at all what I was expecting from a thread titled "the wonderful ice cream suit." Come to think of it, I have no idea what I was expecting.
Maybe I should have another Manhattan.
