    Fancy Meeting You Here..

I've only been with my current fella for about a week.... Over a month ago, I was hanging with a girlfriend one night at a bar, we ran into one of her male friends and spent the rest of the evening all hanging out. A couple weeks ago he ran into her and asked her for my number, sent me a text...

    Guns and shooting advice?

I was hoping to avoid this topic, but here it is - I would consider taking their safety course but I will never become a paying NRA member because I just flat out don't agree with their legislative agenda and do not want my dollars supporting it. This is not a judgment I've made, it's merely a...

    Guns and shooting advice?

My dad is a lifetime NRA member and always had firearms in the house when I was a kid, although I knew better than to go near them. Once when I was about 12 I found a pistol in my parents room. I didn't touch it and realized then that I should learn how to handle it safely. My dad always...

It does. No rentals allowed here, and a firearms license is required to possess.

    Guns and shooting advice?

Well no one's buying anything anytime soon! As I said, club members bring what they have so there are always extras for the beginners to use :)

    Guns and shooting advice?

I know there are a lot of gun enthusiasts here, so here I am asking you all for a little advice. A friend of mine has convinced me to join her Second Amendment Sisters club and learn how to shoot. I won't go into my political views on guns here, but learning to shoot is something I've wanted...

Kleinert's dress shields. They make adhesive, sew in and pin in ones. The pin-in ones are great, as they have tiny safety pins attached to them. http://www.kleinertsshields.com/

    Curing tongs/ Irons

Just use the same setting lotion you'd use when doing a roller set. I tend to not use curling irons because my hair is bleached and heat is BAD, but I've curled it with Lottabody and an iron before, with fine results. You may want to consider using a heat protection spray though.

The Cleaning Clothes (vintage or other) Thread

Dress shields are seriously one of the Best Things Ever and they are SOOOO vintage. They were commonly used in the 30s and 40s! Not only do they allow you to wash your vintage less frequently, but they prevent annoying sweat staining and the fabric degradation that can be caused by the bacteria...

The Cleaning Clothes (vintage or other) Thread

I think they had some types of manual hand washing machines and wringers. I don't agree that the best way to wash them would be the same way they were washed in their day. Fabrics age and a 1940s rayon dress is definitely not as durable 60+ years later as it was back then. A vintage 50s...

I will! There were only 2 bids on this baby, so it stayed very close to its starting price. Exciting! I'm just sad I'll have to wait like 6 or 7 months before it gets warm enough here to wear it :(

Just that it won't stay up properly, and there's nothing classier than having to keep hitching your dress up  In any case, MBH's probably right - a proper padded strapless bra will probably work fine.
