Yeah, it's worth the cash when compared to the prices on Japanese brands. The ones they sell at the outlet malls are made specificially made to sell there. I haven't seen them on line at all on the J Crew website.
I personally would rather unbuckle/buckle than have the quick release snaps. I know I'm going against the trend (at least they aren't magnets like some of the ones they sell at J Crew have).
Got the Gap denim USN style pullover in the mail last Friday. It's a slim fitting shirt and not much room at the waist (considering it's a pullover). Fairly light denim material, but nice details.
BTW, anyone looking for the Wolverine 1000 Mile Boots should check this out...
Anyone know if these are hemmed? The inseam length appears to be slightly over 34" which would be fine for me if hemmed. If not hemmed, it could be a problem.
I buy as much Japanese repro stuff as I can get..much better quality. Unfortunately, I'm 6' 4" and 200lbs....much bigger than the average Japanese consumer.
I've got the USN Chambray and it's pretty good...feels like it'll stand up to some wear and tear. Also have the USN denim deck jacket with the shawl collar...very nice!
