    I'd never heard that term before. My parents were from Philadelphia, but I was born here in Houston, so I grew up hooked on Philly style food. Birchbeer is another treat, sort of like Rootbeer with a lot more snap.

    Scrapple, All the "you don't wanna know" parts. lol We had Tastykakes until recently, then they mysteriously vanished. We get most of the other things like Taylor Porkroll etc, though the locals haven't quite figured out how to make a proper Hoagie. They get close with Cheesesteaks.
