i saw it last night. my screenwriter friends (one more than the other) hated it. lol but i think i laughed through the whole thing. i was one of those who knew it was bad but went with it anyway. the spaceship scene, while pretty cool in and of itself, was a bit...too out there. it reminded me...
i have a lot of soviet propaganda, which i do consider art.
while in st. petersburg in 2001, i bought several prints of well known WWII posters published in Russian. so far i've only had two framed. when i was there in May of 1995, i had the honor of attending the 50th anniversary...
i'm totally in love with "Rome" (waiting for season 1, disc 3 from 'flix as we speak). the actor who play julius ceaser (i don't remember his name...) is fabulous. and the commentary done by the writer (?) and historical consultant is pretty darn interesting, too.
also..."The Tudors" is...
i don't think so...there was a kid who lived in his car that didn't even crack the top 24 (although he totally cracked me up). i don't think david cook ever lived in his car...but i could be wrong. he didn't really stand out to me until they got the 24 together.
no, i didn't get to the concert. i think i forgot about it, actually. my life has become too chock full of things to do. i'm glad it was good, though!! i'll be keeping my eye out for another show...maybe i can get tickets way early and make sure nothing is going on.
too bad we don't live in...
i think archie will win...but i voted for cook. :p i've never been a huge fan of any of the american idol contestants in the past (and really i've only ever seen two seasons anyway), but i like this guy.
hm...my mom had one of the first Barbie dolls with the swim suit and everything, along with another brunette Barbie and a Skipper doll (I assume) from around the same time.
she gave them to me when I was five or six...and uh...I proceeded to give them "makeovers" and haircuts...as well as...
ooh! i've recently discovered that i like them. i think i have "You Could Have It So Much Better"
as of late i've been huge into Ulali's album "Mahk Jchi" i have a secret love for Native American music. it's very touching to me.
the italian job (the newer one). very entertaining.
the interpreter. i remember reading bad reviews about this one...but i found it interesting, if not a little over the top.
there are so many people i'd love to meet!! most folks i've had exchanges with here have been so friendly and very knowledgable. i would love to meet them in person...
"So Proudly We Hail" with Claudette Colbert, Paulette Goddard, Veronica Lake, George Reeves...
It was really great. Not as sentimentally patriotic as I thought it would be.
Yes...I cried. SHADDUP!! lol lol
ohhh. is that the name of the fabric? i think it's in pretty good condition considering the age. but i know for sure that i'll reupholster it someday, too. :)
sometimes, if the seller knows what he/she is doing...the mish mash actually looks cute. i get the vintage/80's/indie look as i kinda live in an epicenter of that trend. some get it...some really don't.
in your example...even though the outfit is dreadful, the cardigan is super cute. i'd buy...
