WWII sweaters knitted for the service man...
It took about a week and a half of knitting a few hours a day...more or less...to get the back done. I still have the front to do! But, I haven't had time to work on it as of late. :D Mittens, especially if they have color work and detail, can take me about a month to finish. Your grandma... -

jedburgh - thank you!! i actually am thinking of just giving this one away...maybe do some kind of contest that vintage betty holds. i have no idea how this yarn will wear for reenactors...so i'd hate to charge someone $40 for a sweater that doesn't work. :) ( it cost about $65-$70 to buy out... -

i am soooo in love with my latest (and largest) find... i love the wooden legs i found it on craigslist for $150 for both. granted there is some cat scratch damage to the sides (not too visible) and, as you can see in the second pic, some of the fabric is coming loose at the seams and...- zaika
