There must be.
I Have exactly what this poster was asking for, but he never replied. Couldn’t have been my price, I never gave him one.

Im looking for a Stetson Ermine & my budget is $50. Got anything?

We all gotta start somewhere, I remember my first post asking for a 7x or better and got the expected responses. Didn’t have an unlimited budget but ironically I found guidance from one of the newer members like me who helped me find some hens teeth.

I’ve reached to all who are in the same 1/2 boat for trades or purchases etc. To each their own, but all my hats are available if someone is looking. After all we are all only temporary stewards.

Yeah, you gotta start somewhere but when? He’s been posting on this for a couple of years and hasn’t found one yet. He wants one cheaper than new. Not sure what that means but if he’d be more specific and state a budget, at least his expectations could better be understood and managed. He’s gone through this with members on a 3/8 OR without resolution and now a 1/2.

Ah I see, I didn’t see the previous posts or know the backstory.
My bad fellas, and OP maybe follow through to get what you keep inquiring about.

I’m a little confused, there’s 3 different posters being referenced for WTB (including this OP). It’s all the same person creating different accounts to ask for the same type of hat?

Got it, saw the other threads finally.

OP, eBay and other auction sites will probably be your best bet. Good luck with the search, it is part of the fun.

This site is top notch for referencing and pin pointing what you’d maybe be after. And like the vast majority of the current and past members, vintage (pre 60s) is definitely the way to go.
