On my Langlitz leathers I use the Langlitz leather dressing which is made by Snowshoe laboratories, it says it contains silicone. Seems very similar to Pecards imo. I figure Langlitz knows what they are talking about when it comes to leather, you rub the stuff on lightly and them wipe it down...- HDRnR

The Stratoliner Society {VINTAGE}
The thing I like about the Stratoliner is that its like a cross between a fedora and an OR. I'm just not a traditional fedora person, I much prefer the thin ribbons, but I do like stingy brims. My favorite hat is the Stetson Range, its like an OR on steroids. I live in NJ and have no problem... -

Your Hat Addiction...and your spouse
My wife thinks I'm insane but she knew that goin in. The cool thing is that she likes the big cowboy hats which I also love. -

Fancy dress only attitude gets me down.

What about Bowlers ? At one time they were incredibly popular and they don't have much of a brim. I've seen old pictures taken in NYC where it seemed like it was the only hat men wore. -

An Awesome Raincoat US M1938
Havn't noticed it yet, it is ventilated fairly well but we havn't had warm weather here yet, most likely if I wore this in the summer I would only wear a shirt under it just because it is not a light garment, I have an original despatch coat and it is not that heavy but still quite substantial...- HDRnR

Langlitz: Why not horsehide?
No photos but it if you go to the Langlitz website its the basic Columbia, no extra outside pockets, just an added leather lined gun pocket inside.- HDRnR
