    My Columbia is the best mc jacket I've ever owned, and I've never seen cowhide like that, easily the heaviest I've encountered. I have a Cascade on order in medium weight for when the weather warms up. I was always a horsehide snob myself owning several Lost Worlds but I do not miss it at all...

    The only Aero that bled was my cordovan halfbelt, my brown Barnstormer did not at all. I think its more the cordovan that bleeds like a stuck pig.

    You might want to consider the ANJ-4 also, http://www.lostworldsinc.com/ANJ-4SheepskinLeatherFlightJacket.htm no wool coming out the sleeve. There are a few other manufacturers of this jacket also. I have two of these, an old Willis & Geiger and one made in the 90's, they are great jackets...
