The easiest way to show the photos in your post is to get the URL of the photo and wrap tags around it. So right clicking on the first photo in your gallery and getting the Properties gives a URL of http://www.trickel.info/gallery/albums/album02/fifty.jpg - copy that, then while composing your...
I thought Phil's poorly though out argument was familiar, and I realised he made pretty much the same points on matei's Making the switch to Mac! thread. For some reason he didn't stick around to argue his case when all his points were refuted on that thread - see Phil's post #47 and my reply #49.
Hope you don't mind one of the chaps butting in here in the Powder Room - The Denes are Tin Houses womens jeans at £82.00 for 'vintage' denim, chambray or lightweight denim.
Old Town and Tin house have a few fans around here - I started a thread about them here.
Yes, I really like the fabric and I think it's the nicest tweed I've ever seen. The lining is man made. I saw the jacket on Monday while shopping with BT and Paddy, and it looked great in the dark shop interior - getting some daylight on it near the window revealed all those colours.
I couldn't find a general tweed jacket thread so I thought I may as well start one to show this jacket that I bought yesterday at a vintage menswear shop called Old Hat in west London.

Actually, all kidding aside, the first time I met my future wife I knew I was going to marry her. That was 20th June 1978 (yes I can even remember the date) in a local pub where she had stopped for a drink with friends before going on to a club. I was just there for a drink with one of my...
There's things about me you don't know, Gokkie. Things you wouldn't understand. Things you couldn't understand. Things you shouldn't understand.
You don't want to get mixed up with a guy like me. I'm a loner, Gokkie. A rebel.
It's not that old - it's a picture of ex-Public Image Ltd bass player, Jah Wobble. I'm not sure exactly when the photo was taken, but it will be post-1978. It's also on this site http://www.va.com.au/womadelaide/artists/Jah_Wobble.html
I've got a small collection of original 30s and 40s Lloyd Loom chairs, including one with a CC41 stamp, and one dated 1934. I've got one rare chair in poor condition that is missing the original seat, but it's a lovely rounded shape. I'll take some photos if anyone wants to see them.
Oops...
The other chair popular with RAF pilots was the Lloyd Loom chair - a company called Lusty produced Lloyd Loom furniture in the UK and they designed a chair specifically for the RAF, called the Pilots Chair, which was wide enough to allow the pilot to sit down fully clothed and ready...
Here are some from a seller in South Africa who has a Canadian agent for North American buyers

I was thinking Western Jacket as well. Here's one that ended on eBay two days ago for just $7.99 (not your size, I know, but there are lots of similar jackets up at the moment) - search for vintage western jacket.
I have a vintage coat very much like this - long, DB, very heavy navy blue wool with a very dark red windowpane check. I'll dust it off and get some pictures over the weekend.
