In 1950s St. Louis it was common and less expensive to have a party line. I don't know the maximum there could be but I think we probably shared the line with only one other residence.
No leather jacket I've owned in the past had chemical treatment. Unless you are standing in rain all day how is it going to hurt the coat? Conditioners like you'd use on a car's leather seats aren't goint to hurt but aren't going to make you able to repell more water either.
Seems like you need a gray and a brown. Beyond that is sort of preference and coordination with whatever clothes you wear. You may not ever need a black or tan.
Try searches with different key words like: vintage, movie star, starlet, photo or anything else you can recall that might get you back to the site. Try Google image search too.

"make sure engine if off before installing" I can imagine how this one came about. A mechanic walks to the back of the shop all disheveled and bloody to tell his co-workers, " Lemme give ya a little tip about these fan belts.....":) :)
Was at the doctor's yesterday and saw a black man 65-70 with a fedora similar to a Dobbs-type, black with 2" brim. He had casual clothes on. I told him, "nice hat!" and his wife answered, "I been trying to get him to quit wearing it." I told him I had a couple at home and to keep wearing is...
Just tried it in our 96 El Dorado Touring Coupe. Plenty of room once in there but not for getting in and out with hat on- ducking required. I drive with the seat all the way down and all the way back too. Raising it if I was shorter would cut headroom severely.:cool2:
