What color hat to wear with a blue suit?
If you're talking navy blue just look at what color pants go with a navy blazer. All shades of gray, burgundy and medium brown. Think of what pants go with a sky blue shirt and no jacket- the same colors. -

The final decision to dimple or not is up to the tie, shirt and suit color combinations too. I used to not dimple some for gut feeling reasons of aesthetics. It's just not important of a detail. Some folks always used colored hankies in the breast pocket too which I thought was too much...- Twitch

Can't fault the marketing I guess. If one was to purchase a cheap fedora it could certainly be manhandled with no need to baby it at that price. If you got it realy dirty or wet you could just buy another. We must remember for the most part almost no one is going to approach someone and ask... -

Biltmore- I remember a short-lived cartoon character that was perhaps localized in St. Louis where I grew up in the 50s. His name was Rootie Kazootie and he wore his ball cap sideways. He was also about as smart as Mortimor Snerd. So everytime I see some yahoo with the cap askew I think of... -
