    I'm sorry your girl's been under the weather. Those stockings are so cute and I love it that she calls them "her boys". Shrinky Dinks! There's a blast from my childhood--didn't know they still made them. I fondly remember making Hollie Hobbie ones at a friend's house when I was around 6.

    I bought a pair on ebay that I adore (french, black with carving that reveals the white below) but I think they're a bit too big for my face. I should try them on again.

    I think that's my favorite book of the series. The Long Winter is better written but By The Shores of Silver Lake is more upbeat (except I still tear up everytime I read the bit with Jack).

    Wow, that's a story! I did the reverse recently--vodka followed by champagne--and had one of the worst headaches in recent memory the following morning. But my glasses were intact!
