Being a ball cap wearer as well, I find the cloth sweatband to be a bit more comfortable than a slightly stiff leather. But, hey, that's just me, I like what's comoftable on me as opposed to what others tell me I should like.
Same with cigars, I'd hate to think that my friends smoke dog...
You can find a great deal. Know that if you do an internet search, you're going to get Brent Black's site in the first two or three hits, no matter which engine you use. Not that it's a bad site, it is quite informative in many respects.
Make certain to read Panama Bob's site too, and a few...
Here's a good article
http://www.hazegray.org/navhist/carriers/cabot/ I made a couple of mistakes. It was in 1989 that the ship was brought to New Orleans. It WAS in good shape when it got here, according to this, well,it was preserved anyway.

If taking on sponsors is necessary to keep a site I frequent up and running, then so be it. The ads need not be intrusive, and won't...
Purple and gold.:eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap lol
I wear a lot of khaki, though, and I like all colors except brown, and I even like that in a hat.
Sitting with the announcers? That's cool. I really liked Thom Brenneman and Steve Stone together on WGN. They had a good rapport and had a lot of fun; they'd do the middle innings when Harry Caray would move over to the radio booth. I love that, but they don't do that anymore do they?
