No worries!:p
I bought a 40s Max Factor kohl liner case recently and luckily the modern pencils still fit!
It looks so cool in my retro bag with the Max Factor lipstick case (which I refilled!)
Anyone wanna see? Or am I going waaay off topic?
I thought I was going doo-lally when I heard this how dare they!!!!!!
What I wouldn't give for Ms shearers outfits and figure in that film! Sooo ahead of its time.

Doh...sorry!
Yes, to be 'pants' in the UK means rubbish etc.
I think it's the brush tbh with the Rimmel. It drops hairs and the liquid is too gloopy.
I like Collection 2000's liquid liner (about £2 in the UK) and when I'm feeling flushed financially (hardly ever!) I like Max Factor...
Sorry to hear that Rita....try channeling a little of your forum namesakes zing!
She had lots of things that went wrong for her etc and she came through.
Hope you feel better soon.

Rimmel liquid liner is pants! But Apparently Liz Taylor swears by their Kohl pencils. I like the lippy (Diva is a good red) but the rest? Forget it....[huh]
Why is it only old chaps fancy me?
I always get comments when I dress in a vintage way, but always from old men who tell me
"Ah..I like a woman with curves" accompanied by a wink!
Young men never look twice.
No fair.
I don't often venture into the Obs. Bar but am glad I did.
Good to hear that B. is doing well. Thinking of her and her family and the other passenger.
Breaks my heart to hear of people still doing this.
Scotrace, please do pass on our best wishes from 'across the pond'

Try hugh Fearnley Whittingstall. He couldn't be any more of a stereotype!lol
I'm 35 now and my son wasn't planned and oh my god did I panic. I am the least...
I hate self help books, particularly ones to do with being a 'wo-man' and 'nurturing the inner you' blah blah....
My son is 12 now and really cool.
I think you have a wonderful attitude and don't need some phoney book telling you what to be/how to think.
Eat well, everything in...
Ooh...lots...
Fields of Gold by Eva Cassidy. They used at my partners mums funeral a few weeks ago and everyone broke down. Her song 'I know you by heart' can make me sob too.
'You made me love you' by Harry James-it's the opening bars...ah unrequited love stinks does it not?
'Happy...
Anyone interested in some very designer 50s/60s stuff?
I have a lot, but they are not my interest and I'd be willing to swap for traces or loans of anything in a bigger size from the 40s or even 1900's (1914 onwards)
Will scan later if anyone's interested.
