    Hi Dani! Hot rollers work best on dry hair, preferably hair that hasn't been washed too recently? Try a blast of L'Oreals hot style spray, it works a treat with hot rollers! And lets see some pics! Don't be shy! K

    Just a hint with the Lady Jayne/Sallys wave clips, if you are getting a ridge then you are clipping in the wrong place. Try and let your hair damp/towel dry-ish and then see which way your hair goes. It is more a question of clipping and supporting the wave, rather than the ridge. Im terrible...

    The truth of it is, most 'average' women (and she was supposed to be of the old money-genteel -poverty) couldn't afford a set every week and on most of my vintage photos the hair (unless for a studio shot) is s little frizzy and unkempt. K
