Great quilt! I'm sure she will cherish it forever. I still have the quilt my grandma made for me, that my mother and father helped with. The only problem is she used sheets for part of it and it's falling apart. Anyways, very pretty colors :)

Best HOT CURLERS/ROLLERS out on the market

I can't say enough good things about the Tight Curls. I paid about $35 for my set, maybe a got lucky? It didn't have all the clips, but I bought a dozen pack of the small butterfly clips and they work perfect. I actually like them better than the metal clips. I did my hair again on Saturday...

The multi-talented Lady Day made this fantastic hat that I purchased from her etsy store. Just fabulous, so many details. I wore it Saturday to a WWII event and got TONS of compliments. Thanks again LD :) The whole oufit! And the fantastic shoes I got awhile back from Lauren's etsy shop-...

Here are the accessories I made for my Steampunk Seamstress outfit for Halloween. Necklace: Earrings: Some I had that I added the scissors to Brooch, which was actually a patch. It had some of the metal already on it and conch shells that I removed. Then I added some sewing...

    Halloween costumes!

Aw, thanks! Yes, I was reading about it and it said you really need a backstory to go with your outfit. I think it came out good for on the cheap. Mainly I just accessorized a dress I already had. But I have some close-ups of the jewelry I made, I'll post over in the craft thread when I get home...

    New Amelia Earhart Movie

I finally got to see this. I thought is very really great. Hilary just became Amelia, which was no surprise. I thought the realtionship with Putnam was interesting as well as Vidal. The costumes alone are a reason to go. It was just a really good biography. The only thing I would have liked was...

    Halloween costumes!

I was a Steampunk Seamstress (quilter just didn't have the same ring to it-lol) I made some scissor jewelry- I'll have to post in the craft thread. My husband made me a leather arm scissor holder thing that came out cool. And I really had fun with my radar gun! It was a kids plastic gun I...

Thanks so much! I used the metal wave clips on top, sat under the dryer a bit. Then I used my Tight Curls, real small hot rollers, on the bottom and in the back. Then did touch ups with a small curling iron. I made the clip too. Used various white, black, and pheasant feathers glued to a...
