It is (Wintermans) CAO also entered into a distribution relationship with Carlos Toraño, who makes a lot of cigars on their own and for so many others (CAO and Gurkha spring immediately to mind.) CAO distributes, Toraño with the infrastructural assistance of Wintermans.
I don't. I'm sorry. We use a *gasp* mix, but it's a local one that sells for $1.39 per pack, and feeds four of us. I adapt it by sauteeing onions and garlic after I render the sausage. In addition, instead of water, I use chicken broth.
El Credito has been making La Gloria Cubana abroad for years. During the boom, when it was still independent, they couldn't meet demand from that little factory so they moved to the Dominican. Ernesto Perez-Carillo is still in charge, but he sold out to General Cigars/Swedish Match a number of...
I'm from New Orleans, which is located near the southern coast of the United States, but isn't really "the South." We're more the northernmost city of the Caribbean, than "the South" although we go through the South whenever we leave.
To clarify an earlier post, there are TWO styles of...
Obviously I don't.
I try to be as courteous as possible, and ignore the snide remarks I DO get. Ironically, what few I get are from cigarette smokers who think they're being funny. At this point, ignoring the fanning and fake cough are enough.
Another interesting experience I've had this...

The big...
Eduard, YOU ROCK!!!!!
Maintcoder, Cuban Crafters is a solid company with good products. I interviewed their president Don Kiki Berger back in January, and I keep in contact with their head marketing guy, he's fun to talk to.
Yes, he still smokes.
Nice thread, thank you.
It is reported that Mark Twain bought his cigars by the barrel, and that they were some of the nastiest cigars available. But, smoke what you like and like what you smoke.
I'm having a bit of it right now, but I think I have an ear infection.
My mother, however, has Meniere's, of which tinnitus is a symptom, and the louder the tinnitus, the worse dizziness, nausea an diarrhea she has. Excessive fluid is an issue with tinnitus, thus the low-salt/no-salt diets...
