Yeah, I watched the first episode, and it was the music that really threw me. It just doesn't fit in with the 1919-1920 setting that they are trying to convey. If it weren't for that, I might get caught up in the soap opera, but to me now it just comes off as another soap opera set in another...
Same here. Maybe Carol will stir things up a bit like she did at Terminus? Maybe even convince some of the folks holed up there to bust out and join forces.
Here it has been autumn for the last month or so. Temps generally in the 60s and 70s during the day, and down to the 50s and 40s at night. Low humidity. What weather should be ideally. :D
Next month it will go below zero, and there will be several feet of snow. An ideal winter.
The driver in the video takes off from an airport, so it is considered to be an aircraft for the most part. But upon landing the wings fold back out of the way and off you go down the freeway.
Maybe this should be described as a "automotive aircraft" then? Flown like a plane in accordance to...
This flying car, although it has wings, is the closest thing we've got to the scifi concept of a "flying car" that I've seen so far. The fact that the driver doesn't have to stop and get out to attach wings is a real breakthrough.:D
Something that's more like a VTOL or a helicopter might be in...
Saw this earlier today and thought it would be quite cool to see maybe a modernized version of this. Maybe a hybrid. But the interior space will definitely have to be re-visualized. The single seat in front with two rear jump seats will never fly. Makes it more like a military vehicle than a...
The Aerocar was futuristic for it's time, but the Transformer aspect of this newest version is the apex of futuristic convenience. :)
Just imagine,...driving down the mundane highway, approaching a horrible traffic jam, and then freeing one's self from the surly bonds of earth with the touch of...
Well, here ya go! It's finally a reality. https://www.yahoo.com/travel/great-scott-flying-cars-are-about-to-be-a-reality-101263114302.html
Not exactly like the cars The Jetsons had, but I'll take it. :eusa_clap
Yes. This is why I despise those fancy coffee stands with their "baristas" or whatever the hell they call them. Just give me a cup of coffee fer cryin' out loud! :eusa_doh:
A world war 2 theme maybe. Axis and allies partying together? I certainly would not go as Hitler though, but I might be persuaded to do my impression after a few drinks. :p
Reminds me that I surely wouldn't miss corporate control freaks if they all suddenly disappeared. I think the corporate headquarters of the company I currently work for has an entire building full of office "workers" who must continually appear to be actually doing something. They make up new...
Keep the A10 in service! :eusa_clap
My favorite, if I was going to fly it would be the German FW 190. Said to be very stable, easy to fly, and LAND. Landing being the most important part of flying.
