For our backyard family picnic I wanted something light.
French bread smeared with warm Havarti cheese
Salad:Romaine,corn,avocado,watermelon,and a light Balsamic vinagrette.
Sauteed the shrimp in extra virgin olive oil,sea salt, pepper, and lemon juice.(I had more shrimp than that, but it...
Miss1929- it's difficult to resist that french maid inspired look. What a stunner!
Alexandra-Lovely! and your hair looks sleek, not limp.
BegintheBeguine-I think that's one of my favorite pics, you look beautiful and the dogs look very happy!
It's been awhile,but here's a full length...
Cherrylips and Mary-
These are fantastic! I love that the photography has both the feel of a Pinup while still looking caught in the moment. Somehow, both carefree and glamorous.
I love modeling or doing hair for photoshoots. For me,it's about the clothes and setting a scene or exploring the vampier side of my personality that I don't let out that often. Think Vintage Vogue with a hint of sex appeal thrown in. I'm not sure that I'd classify myself as a Pinup.
I love...
It's been a very long time since I remembered to take a pic. I've pretty much been living in daydresses worn with cardigans.
I really like this floral little number from Newport News, but I decided to wear something other than a cardigan for a change of pace.
Oh,and the red hair has returned.
Pureology is also sulfate free. As well as Simply Organic, and Davines.
Side note:
The Davines has a shampoo and conditioner called Love for harsh and frizzy hair. Practically magic for curly dehydrated hair!

:offtopic: Pardon the patchy yard, grass is till growing from the eyesore of a 1970s hot tub that had been there.
We had family pictures taken today and dressed in a red, white, and blue theme. This is only part of my ensemble as I was changing when my husband surprised me with my early Mother's Day gift (Electra bike) and we took a pic.

Glowing white dress-Isaac Mizrahi for Target...
This ensemble is from Saturday and one of my favorite dresses. I went to the grand opening of my friends' salon. We had so much fun! Just wish I had thought to take a better pic of the dress the cumberbund falls into a sash in the back.
I'm on the left and the pretty lady on the right works...
Sorry Ladies!
:eusa_doh: I forgot to check back in.
The trip has been cancelled. My husband is going back to school and we decided to spend our vacation money for proper supplies.(Darn this adulthood!) He's getting his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and I thought a laptop would be a...

Saddleshoe advice:
If you know anyone who has teenagers in Private School they should be able to point you in the right direction. I see alot of teenage girls in them, especially in green and white. They wear much larger sizes then even myself.
I resemble that lack of time comment.lol
Actually,I like your fallen tendril. Your hair is perfect for these types of hats.Even if you just tucked your hair behind your ears it would still look adorable. The bonus of having your cute cut is you don't need much prep time.
So sweet! I love this type of little hat. They seem to be half hat/half headband and look great with sleek styles. When I had longer hair these looked brilliant with a low chignon. With super short I just pop it on.
