Fanch, please excuse me, but I cannot resist, "you old goat!" What a fantastic choice! I would have you know, with your sage advice, my Teamster (with a few tweaks) is now being sewn together, somewhere over the sea. The button jackets are truly addictive and offer such a variety of looks...
Sleeves too long? Never in my estimation. Incidentally, the nice bit is, regardless of reaching, arm flapping, bending over, etc., the cuffs will stay right at your wrists. Never to worry about the dreaded, "sleeve creep" when reaching forward. I will take "no creep," anytime, over too...

There are several Maxwell threads, with fit photographs. Such as:

The photograph is me.
I can assure you; the color you see, is the color it is. It is such a dark brown, initially, I (and my wife) felt it was almost black. I had hoped for a brown, much like the second photograph. However, over time, the jacket is forming slightly...

Aaron:

My dress shirts are 17.5 x 40; my Aero Maxwell's sleeves are 31 inches. My next jacket will be ordered at 33...
Yes, "it's horses for courses." (Sloan, I so appreciate your line I had to use it.) IMHO fit is so truly personal and unique that opinions are simply that; another's preference based on their experience.
Schitzo, on you, the lengths work. I cannot imagine it would for my body type and...
