New Aero Board Track Racing shirt in tumbled cordovan

Fanch: Try 15Ds. Surprisingly easier to find, now, than in years past.

New Aero Board Track Racing shirt in tumbled cordovan

Sloan: Exquisite! You "normal" sized fellows have all the fun.

    Black goatskin maxwell

Righto! Although the folks at Aero were somewhat balking, they agreed to my 33 inch sleeve request. Oh, the tribulations of the long armed.

    Black goatskin maxwell

Fanch, please excuse me, but I cannot resist, "you old goat!" What a fantastic choice! I would have you know, with your sage advice, my Teamster (with a few tweaks) is now being sewn together, somewhere over the sea. The button jackets are truly addictive and offer such a variety of looks...

Fit check on new-to-me Diamond Dave jacket

Sleeves too long? Never in my estimation. Incidentally, the nice bit is, regardless of reaching, arm flapping, bending over, etc., the cuffs will stay right at your wrists. Never to worry about the dreaded, "sleeve creep" when reaching forward. I will take "no creep," anytime, over too...

Maxwell in brown FQHH - Configuration questions

Montecristo: There are several Maxwell threads, with fit photographs. Such as: http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?77135-Maxwell-Fit-Photos-quot-Kind-of-quot&highlight=maxwell...

Maxwell in brown FQHH - Configuration questions

Montecristo: The photograph is me. I can assure you; the color you see, is the color it is. It is such a dark brown, initially, I (and my wife) felt it was almost black. I had hoped for a brown, much like the second photograph. However, over time, the jacket is forming slightly...

My BK Westfall in badalassi cowhide

Long sleeves on short jackets = waiter's jacket? If only I could feel comfort in sleeves that length. The critical question zhz, "do you like to wear it?" If yes, there is little more to say.

Some people just want to be Indy!

When I am "72ish," I can only hope to be wearing jackets; and looking as well. I'll advocate "longer is better," until I shuffle forth from this earthly interlude.

    Aero Leather - Caveat Emptor?

I am a true believer in "a little longer, a little larger." IMHO the only way to go. Rumors have it, a wee bit of hot water will do wonders.

    Aero jacket sizing question..

I second the 1 inch. As the sleeves do not yet appear heavily creased or wrinkled, personally, I would add 1.5. When the cuff end starts its inevitable, incremental march toward your wrist, you may be thankful for that initial "smidgen more."

Wow. One of the most expensive repros ever?

"I am temporarily out of the country, overseas, and in a location without internet or phone access. But, I am eager to purchase it for full asking price. No haggling. By the way, the extra money I sent, was a mistake, please return it to me. Please use this PayPal Account number." No...

Witty, indeed. Excuse me, pal, can you do us a favor?

In pictures: Aero Black FQHH Maxwell

Something about a button up jacket! The contrasting stitching is a very nice detail. (If only I had the physique to pull off such a fit; well done.)

    New 2014 Aero styles

Holly: For us, trim fit, longer length, button up and down types ........ can the Plainsman be made in a button style?

    New 2014 Aero styles

Plainsman = Longer Maxwell, sans buttons? If so, opinions as to whether Aero would customize this into a button format?

    Alexander leather sleeve length

Aaron: For me, sleeve length is the Gordian Knot/Pandora's Box, of fit. I can live with a looser feel in the chest/back, but short sleeves (or what I consider short) is my bane. My dress shirts are 17.5 x 40; my Aero Maxwell's sleeves are 31 inches. My next jacket will be ordered at 33...

    Aero 1920s Original Hercules

Yes, "it's horses for courses." (Sloan, I so appreciate your line I had to use it.) IMHO fit is so truly personal and unique that opinions are simply that; another's preference based on their experience. Schitzo, on you, the lengths work. I cannot imagine it would for my body type and...
