Indeed, hat's off to my wife; for her discerning photographic eye!
I consider myself fortunate to be able to contribute to the wealth of information contained in this Forum. When I began my search, for fine (albeit hardy) leather wear, all signals, sign posts and roads brought me here...
Several requested "fit photos" of my Maxwell. As luck would have it, fortune recently took my wife and I to Seattle and its surrounding areas. After stopping in and sharing a nice chat with "Insurrection Carrie" (Wade, perhaps next time), I strong armed my wife into snapping some photographs...
Fanch:
Outstanding addition to your collection! I pondered, too long, over the selection between Maxwell and Mulligan; your plunge into the deep end deserves a standing ovation!
Excellent decision on omitting the chest pocket; astute design choice.
BTW: When you have a moment, I...
My meager contribution to this haberdasher's delirium. Have you ever felt like you are bringing a knife, to a gunfight?
Aero/Thurston Maxwell FQHH.
Sterlingwear Mariner.
No name, calf length single breasted charcoal wool overcoat (crafted by someone in the Dominican Republic).

Funny you mention the "bi-plane." While there is sometime very satisfying about knocking a plane or two down (great for the upper body strength), I keep getting the question "are you a pilot?" I tried to explain, but now I just say, "I'm with that air show up at....... ."

Chest 26 inches.
Back length 27.25.
Sleeves 31 inches. My dress shirts are 17.5 x 40 (but never...
In light of the recent popularity of the Maxwell, it seemed fitting to showcase mine for posterity. (Many thanks to HD for his Stuart photos, the predecessor to the Maxwell. Thank you for those glimpses of that elusive beast.)
The "back story," for those who care about such things. After...
Benny: Outstanding!!
Perhaps another verse for your daughter.
With my cuffs a buttoned,
I'll be struttin
Across the floor
And out the door.
Though my credit be nuttin,
Please keep them cuttin
In that leather store
Near the Scottish Moor.
(While my geography may not be...
Anyone experienced with this configuration? This came on my Maxwell. For the life of me, I cannot keep the straps from slipping. Perhaps I simply require an owner's manual. I sincerely appreciate any comments.
