Looking very sharp, Mr. Jones. I'd like to compliment you on your shirt and tie as well. The shirt looks like it has a white and grey striped body and solid white collar, and the tie must be vintage.
It's out of its league here, as it's a post-WW2 weapon. Otherwise, might as well list the AK 47, which came out at the same time, shortly after WW2.
That's a good point about the silenced Sten. It was the main silenced weapon used by western special forces until the arrival of the silenced...
I have. One major Canadian paper called Auschwitz "a Polish concentration camp". They had to publish an apology, after receiving a letter of complaint from the Polish ambassador.
The "Laguiole" by "Forge de Laguiole". There are many "Laguiole" knives, but the "Forge de Laguiole" is the best.

You can go for the Pakeman hat, which I got.

It's lightweight, soft, unlined, rabbit fur lelt, and made in Italy. The brim is 2.5 in or 6,3 cm.
Also, the unlined folding lightweight Lock trilby is on sale at Ben Silver...
I have a solid shaft polished chestnut Brigg umbrella purchased from Classic Luggage about 5 years ago, and I'm very happy with it. It is more difficult to lose a long shaft umbrella like this than a smaller collapsible one.
I would go for the P 38 instead. I know the performance isn't as good as the P 51's, but the P 38 had a unique design.
(Ayrton Senna, the late F1 pilot, "drove" an F16)
The MP 38/40 was made by Erma, not by Schmeisser, though it was popularly known as the Schmeisser. It's the best-looking weapon ever made, and reliable, except in the extreme conditions of the Eastern front.
Why aren't there more votes for the PPSh? It was by far the best weapon, solid and...

An obvious fake. It can't get more obvious that this, unless the description actually states "Fake Smysonian Indiana Johnes Jacket for sale" (with added spelling mistakes, for authenticity). But then, it wouldn't be a real fake because it would be advertised as a fake. This is a real fake...
As an alternative to vintage, I would suggest Akubra.

Good quality hats made in Australia, with many Fedora models to chose from, affordable prices.
One model is even called "Bogart".
A top hat. Russian intellectuals were no different that Western European ones at that time. Maybe a worn and shabby top hat, because intellectuals weren't rich enough to afford a shiny silk top hat.
Nobody in his right mind would have thaught of stealing these guys' hats:
I have a theory: if you look at different periods in history, the bigger hats coincide with the bigger swords. The dissapearance of the sword has led to the dissapearance of the hat.
I have seen people here wearing winter boots with a suit in the middle of the summer, because those winter boots were the only form of dark leather footwear they had.
You forgot the briefcase, an essential item for the paper-carrying office worker. The important questions are:
1. Brown or black?
2. Hard (box-type) or soft?
