This one's a mystery. The liner says Knox, the sweat and the labels under it say different, or do they? It's big, has a Cav edge, 5" crown bashed, and a 2-5/8" brim. Sadly, there's a hole at the front of the crown, but the felt feels nice and it has a great vintage look.

A young, jowly, grey-haired detective. lol
That's a 1956 Clipper, and I only wish it were mine. If I recall correctly, that was the only year that Packard spun the Clipper name off to be its own brand. It was also the last year Packards were built in the old Detroit factory.
This one is...
I first read yours as De Anglen, which I surmised had something to do with angels or anglers. lol
I'm Tony, and I live in Tarzana, former home of Edgar Rice Burroughs.
Gotta buy some lottery tickets. If I hit the big number, I'll open The Every Day Suit Factory, specializing in suits a guy can wear every day, all day, and drive a car in or change a lightbulb in without one's arms being restricted. I'll be sure to have sizes to fit everybody from Baron Kurtz...
I wore my Adam silk plush topper with white tie and tails to the company Christmas party yesterday, and it was a big hit. I'm hoping somebody got pictures I can post, as I didn't bring mine.
Yep, I need to get something like that, once I drop some poundage. I went on a tour of a gemstone mine in Pala, near San Diego, and I wore that hat with a tan Dickies shirt and trousers. Not quite Indy Jones, but close. :)
Thanks! I found a Dobbs Homburg with that color combination, and then started looking for a fedora with the same colors, and that one popped up. The Cav edge was a bonus. :)
Here are some self-portraits at work. The hat is a Dobbs, with the widest Cav-edged brim I have. The first two are in our control room, where I fill in one or two nights a week, and the last is in front of a 1956 Clipper by Packard that just happens to be at the back of our parking lot.
