    Magnificent Tuxedo!

Given the number tailors around (and people who purport to be tailors), even 24 is probably a small enough number to fit into the "practically none" category.

    Tailcoat Advice?

Yeah, I agree with what's been said already. Not much you could do with that except perhaps an early-19th century themed wedding, a la Jane Austen. In which case, wear it with tight tan-colored trousers and knee boots, a waistcoat that buttons to the neck, a white shirt with a high stock...

    Cost Of A Haircut

I go to the salon in the mall where I work. It's normally $14.95, though they have a men's discount for $12.95 on Tuesdays. I tip $2. I don't get it cut as often as I should, probably once every 4-5 weeks.

    waistcoat questions

I've only ever found one photograph of the mature Edward VII in civilian dress that clearly showed his waistcoat: Notice all of the buttons are done up. He is wearing a kilt below, and I don't know if that affects matters. Moral of the story: do what you like. I go both ways, as my fancy...

    Vintage Movie Suits

Jimmy Stewart, from The Philadelphia Story One of Cary Grant's suits from the same film Grant also wore some weird, unfortunate lapel-less things in this film, but the suit above is pretty nice.

    Four major details

I don't think they're a very useful feature for dating something. I've seen them on '30s trousers, and they are made today as well.

    Suspender buttons

I usually do each pair 4" apart. One goes directly over the main pleat on each side, with its mate 4" to the side. The back ones go 2" on either side of the center back seam.

    Vintage British 2-piece Suit, 38-40R

It's a cryin' shame. How on earth does your 38"-inseam brother find even modern clothes, let alone vintage ones?

    Urine suit

In my experience, dry cleaning doesn't do a thing to old urine stains. I have a suit with mild stains that I've been working on (off-and-on) for a year or so. Dry cleaning didn't touch them; hand washing lightened them somewhat; treating them with pet stain remover and then washing lightened...
