Tom Hanks in his three piece peak lapel single breasted suit yesterday at the Concert at Lincoln Memorial.

I'm sure his trouser waist is far too low, though. Looks like a great jacket / waistcoat cut, though.... Nice to see the peak lapel coming back on sbs. I've seen a few on lounge suits here and there the last year, though by far it has been more common than ever I have seen it during this past twelve months on sb djs. A nice, light grey homberg would have looked superb with it, no?

I'm sure next inauguration he'll be wearing a very pointed collar.

What's with the new First Lady's fashions? On my laptop screen, those gloves look terrible with her outfit.

Aretha Franklin's hat has a bow as big as the ones they put on a Lexus in those Christmas commercials.

Not the best of looks, but not horrific either...not by a long shot. He carries it with confidence. I'm sure we agree that a president's evening wear is the least important thing on the country's plate.

I thought the President looked amazing! White tie with a regular tux and studs... he was great. It's forward and he owned it!
