    DEADWOOD DERBIES?

They look good, and for the person who can pull off the leather belt look (idk what else to call it lol) it's great! As for me if I was to get a derby I'd want the simply ribbon myself.

    Why leather soled dress shoes?

I've heard this excuse before, so I'm wondering. Am I the only one who feels comfortable in leather soled dress shoes? The complaint that they are uncomfortable just isn't true with me atleast.

    Cloak

I've think the Cloak in the mind of the "masses" is a part of the "Dracula" dress. That said I don't mind the looks of them, although I've never given much thought to wearing one. I wonder how they work in the cold compared to a regular overcoat.

    Obama in Fedora

I'm not a fan of Obama, but I think we American Loungers have a patriotic duty to get the President in a decent looking hat lol. So far his PR team hasn't succeeded. "Mister we could use a man like Calvin Coolidge again." lol.

    Good grief, my head shrank!

Not going to lie here, I didn't think it was possible for a head to shrink without the outside help of a witch doctor lol.

    Greatest Movie NEVER Made?

Fourth! Although it would have to be a very long movie. It really would work better as a trilogy like Lord of the Rings. I think it would almost work better as a TV mini series.

    Our very own Ray...

Why's that? He's 19, lives in an (at least partially) free country, and can do what he wants. Last I knew deciding how you want to live your life is a part of being a freeman.

Bogart robbing a jeweler in Paris

LOL Well that may work in Europe here in the States Arsen Lupin is not as popular, especially when compared to the likes of Sherlock Holmes. If someone dressed as Lupin and robbed something the American press would probably say "Short Abe Lincoln Robs Bank". Or "Monopoly Guy Goes Directly to...

    65 years ago today...

RIP to the honorable some who gave all. My Great Uncle was killed on that day. This day is a very sad day for my Grandmother, who named her first born son (my uncle) after her lost older brother. God bless all the men who never came home.

    tats up the arm..

Indeed it is a problem with our sub-cultures. Some people try so hard to be different that we end up all looking the same, and ridicule those in the group that don't meet our "expectations". Now I'm not a rockabilly, but I certainly appreciate what they have contributed to the vintage community...

    Famous Pipe Smokers

It comes from one of the Sherlock Holmes dvd specials from Brett's Grenada series. They interview Edward Hardwicke (the second Watson) who talked alot about Brett as a person. Hardwicke claimed he would go and buy three packs of cigarettes, and would have then gone by the end of the day. Well...
