I LOVE that, cici! So cute!!
I think I forgot to post pictures of the fashion show I did a few months ago! Here's two of the outfits I made. The wedding dress I draped and designed. Both are from rayon satin- the black is crepe back satin with sequined "cape" faced in organza and I used...
Ooh yes, Frye is pricey. That looks perfect!
Thanks, Inky! I also bought some of the sandal patterns on etsy and that's why I was looking for soles! Yay!
What a great idea! I want to make some summer 30s beach sandals and was trying to figure out what to use for a sole... that would certainly work! Thanks for the inspiration- they came out lovely!
I've been watching too much Annette, apparently, cause I'm craving an early 60s bikini!
I got this one from Lady Day. She's wearing the hat I made a repro pattern of, so I had to have it so I can wear the ensemble together!
And this one was so Audrey Hepburn I couldn't pass it up.
What wonderful things everyone has been making! :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap
Cici- LOVE that color blue on you! Perfect!
Marla, you look picture perfect!
If you do it with no topstitching you're going to have to line the jacket more than likely. If you can get a hold of the Classic Tailoring Techniques book they should have step by step instructions. I have the womens one and it goes into it. Check with your library if you don't want to buy...
Oh my gosh, what a fabulous idea! Thank you so much for sharing that! I hate wearing bras with some of these strapless or halter tops so that will be an awesome alternative :)
Hey all!
I've been holding onto this pattern forever and finally realized I'll probably never make it. I know it's a popular one, so thought I'd give a heads up that it's leaving my stash. It's listed over here on Etsy.
Thanks!
