Not always the case though...my hips are not all that wide, but, had an extremely easy time giving birth...first one, 4hours labor, 3 pushes...out- the rest was one of those rushing to the hospital before having it in the car! To some extent I wonder if heredity plays a big part in this since...- mysterygal

So true...an example is, I went out one evening with the whole vintage look-head to toe- had the hat, gloves, ect., I found that the one's who were giving me the dirtiest looks were teenage girls, whereas middle-aged and up would give me a smile. What are you watching?
I just bought a dvd with some old 'Flash Gordon' classics on it. Watched half of it last night. It's fun but incredibly cheesy (which I'm sure most of those were back then!) For some reason, I always thought flash Gordon was a superman type[huh]- mysterygal

Like it has been said before, Dita is a very petite lady. What helps with eating protein and veggies is your cutting out the carbs, which tends to bloat a lot of women out. I assume that while performing, this would not be a good thing! Also from my own experience, it's actually great to 'suck...- mysterygal

Gloves: sizing, etiquette and all other stuff
Good question! I'm still getting used to wearing a hat (I still don't know what it is, but, I still feel almost 'costumish' with one on) But, I have a huge love for them. gloves; I find they are a must for the vintage look. I remember reading the same thing...it really wasn't a healthy practice for women. I also remember the fact that that's why fainting was so common...with the corset so tight, a lady could only take in so much breathe, over do it, and she would get light headed and possibly faint. Doran, I think a lot of it has to deal with where you live as well probably. I've always lived in a small town, so, yeah, of course there's violent people no matter where one may go, but, it's really not an issue around here. I just get frustrated when people play into the bullies...- mysterygal

It's a whole lot easier to do than what most people think...all it takes is a corsette and ...whalla! (ok, it does help if you are petite!)
