I suspect most of the stares would be of the 'quietly envious of your degree of self condidence' sort, and also of the "why the heck can't I look that cool?" type of stare..... Go for it - the world needs more of this sort of stuff
Nice to see you at a relatively normal angle for once :p, AND minus shades.....:eeek:
The Duomo looks amazing at night, doesn't it? Was there last year - really enjoyed Milan.
Enjoy your time in Italy, and have a good 2012.

Seriously nice hat, and looks in beautiful condition. :eusa_clap:eusa_clap:eusa_clap
Let's hope that one staves off your hunger for the perfect grey Borso..... at least for a few days!!:p

Thanks Paddy, I just hope it looks as good on my head as it does in the pictures.....
(And if you do make your way up to Edinburgh, please do get in touch if you'd like to!)
Very happy to come to the rescue of humanity, Marc, and also to gain such a perfect grey Borsalino in the process.....;)
And very sorry, Alejandro, but this one is MINE!!!
Re: Caxton
Yeah, when a hat is scaled like that you've got to do something a bit dramatic to keep the proportions working harmoniously. Definately one of your best, IMO.
Great stuff, Mario - thanks so much for posting this. Some lovely suits and general outfits in there, plus a lot of distinctly mid-width ribbons on the hats.
