Always liked the look of Homburgs on others, but was not quite sure about them on me. But the more I wear this one, the more I like it. I suspect that I need at least a 2 1/2"...

Knox Forty, medium grey, with Cav edge brim, size 7 US.
Superb quality of felt! Brim is just under 2 1/2", ribbon is 2", and condition is generally good with only a couple of very small and shallow moth marks on edge of brim.

Pretty much identical to one that I have - same colour (although difficult to tell precisely from the monitor!), same beautifully executed double bow. Mine is marked 'G. Hirschmann - Glatz, Geislingen - Steige'.

Don't normally go for stitched /whipcord-edge or self-bands, but I have to say that this one looks great on you!

Looks very nice, Alejandro, and in lovely condition. I do like the Alder colour (same as that one you sold to me a while back) and the Ecosan is a nicely proportioned hat (I have one but in Olivo colour), with that thin back-bound brim binding that Rabbit was so taken with on the Bismuto...
I'm not really wearing brown hats these days (early 50's + greying hair = doesn't work![huh]). If it was a more suitable colour this one would be winging its way to Scotland as we speak.....
