I had to start this one over to fix the photos and correct something in the listing. Check it out!

The hat was/is definitely grey. I thought it looked pretty grey in the photos... especially the second one, but maybe my monitor is off. If you don't like it, please send it back. I'm not here trying to fool anyone.
And, I do have one more just like this one, but slightly larger than the one I...
It measures a little bigger than its tagged 7 5/8. Not a perfect hat, but very nice.

I don't have anything I'm willing to part with, but there is a nice, grey Borso on ebay right now. Let me know if you have trouble finding it.
Best,

<Anyone want to guess what the 7 1/2 Borsalino (that's currently up to $305.00) will go for tomorrow morning?
I'll say $421.00. >
I'm not bidding or selling on that one, but I think it's worth every penny. It's a finer hat that can be bought from any source these days. It's a rare size...
I feel pretty good about jumping on the buy it now for this Borsalino Alessandria. Hard to come by a vintage in 7 5/8, and I like doing cleaning and shaping.

I can't find this in the Conversion Corral. I think I have my default listings per page set differently, so the page thing doesn't help. Can you provide a post number?
Thanks,
Anj
Sold. I do have another of these. Same hat, but not stretched. Fits like a tight 7 1/2 regular oval. I could stretch it if you like. Same price, if anyone's interested.

I'd appreciate thoughts on this Borsalino I'm selling. As you can see in the action, I was guessing late forties to fifties. If anyone has a better idea, I'd like to amend the listing. The Salvatore Balbi store has been discussed here before, but I didn't find info on when they may have closed...
Nice Lock and Co. fedora. It was sold as a 7 3/8 British size, which makes it a 60cm or 7 1/2 American. It was a bit tight when I got it, so I stretched it to a 7 1/2 Long Oval to fit me. It is a slightly small 7 1/2- measuring at just under 23 1/2 circumference.
A nice hat. Not stellar. Great...
I finally scored a Playboy last night. Very excited about it. I'm going to have to sell a lightweight Borsalino to pay for it. I thought the price on the Stetson was pretty fair, especially given that shipping is free. By the way, I have offered to help pay for some of the shipping costs, given...
Agreed. I sold mine (same color, made in 1950) on ebay a few months back for just under five bills. It was a long oval, which makes it more valuable, but it also had a minor condition issue.
Tempted to buy the damn thing myself, as an investment. Seems like bad karma, though.
