I'm sorry to do that to you, Baron. The one that I have is the only other heather felt Gay Prince I've seen. It is quite a different hat than the suede finish. Unlike the auction hat, mine is missing the overcast stitch on the ribbon.

Monsieur Kurtz, why is the text in French on that U.K. eBay website?

Because its origin was the ebay.fr website (France), but the U.K. one picked it up too: http://www.ebay.fr/itm/110947133349....l2557&orig_cvip=true&clk_rvr_id=392230910005

If you're interested in finding vintage French hats, here's a dandy source: http://collections.shop.ebay.fr/Cha...nd&_dmpt=FR_JG_Collections_Costumes&cmd=Blend

An American in Paris? Has anyone ever heard of "Dunson & Co."? http://cgi.ebay.fr/ANCIEN-CHAPEAU-M...R_JG_Collections_Costumes&hash=item3ccafbcc6b

A ebay question about a ebay oddity.

What do you guys think about a ebay member since 2006 having a zero rating with a yellow star....no buys, no sales.

Is there such a thing as having a record wiped out after a period of time with no activity while still keeping the original join date?
