I think you just made me sick. The Gay Prince is one of my absolute favourite fedoras. Wish I'd seen this one. I don't have one in this colour.

This, on the other hand, was a great bargain for someone.

Not 30s, but perhaps 1940s - a non-suede, lightweight heather Gay Prince. Looks to be a winner.

I'm sorry to do that to you, Baron. The one that I have is the only other heather felt Gay Prince I've seen. It is quite a different hat than the suede finish. Unlike the auction hat, mine is missing the overcast stitch on the ribbon.

A ebay question about a ebay oddity.

What do you guys think about a ebay member since 2006 having a zero rating with a yellow star....no buys, no sales.

Is there such a thing as having a record wiped out after a period of time with no activity while still keeping the original join date?

Well, not exactly. I search ebay.fr quite thoroughly, and regularly, but my watch list I generally check in on in the UK site, hence the .co.uk address. Confusing enough for everyone??
